Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Skyvier collects, why we collect it, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Last updated 7 August 2026

Who we are

Skyvier ("Skyvier", "we", "us") builds intelligent operating systems for families, communities, public institutions, and culture. This policy applies to skyvier.com and to the Skyvier products and environments that link to it, including Skyvier OS.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us — such as your name, email address, organisation, role, and anything you include in an enquiry, invitation acceptance, or onboarding submission.
  • Account and access information — sign-in identifiers, the roles and permissions granted to you, and records of access decisions.
  • Content you upload — documents, images, and other material you submit to a Skyvier environment.
  • Technical information — device, browser, approximate location derived from IP address, and log data generated when you use our sites and services.

How we use information

  • To provide, secure, and improve our websites, products, and environments.
  • To authenticate you and to determine what you are authorised to see or do.
  • To respond to enquiries, invitations, and support requests.
  • To maintain audit records of governed actions — who did what, and when — which is a core function of our platform.
  • To meet legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.

Legal bases

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent, the performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, or our legitimate interests in operating and securing our services.

Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf (for example hosting, database, email delivery, and analytics providers), with people you are explicitly connected to inside a Skyvier environment, and where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember interface preferences, and understand how our sites are used. You can control cookies through your browser, though some features may not work without them.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described above, and then delete or de-identify it. Audit and governance records may be retained longer because their integrity depends on not being altered or removed.

Security

Access to Skyvier environments is permission-based and denied by default. We apply technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information we hold. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise a right, email privacy@skyvier.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

Children

Some Skyvier products are designed to be used by families. Where a product involves information about a child, it is provided and controlled by a parent, guardian, or authorised organisation, and is governed by that product's own terms and settings.

International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we use safeguards required by applicable law.

Changes

We will update this policy as our services change. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
